My goals for 2019!

Happy New Year my angels.
I am so excited to see what this new year brings for me. I also have a few plans for it!
Every year I make a list of things I want to accomplish in the new year. I usually get 2 or 3 things done & thats totally not Okay for me. So for this new year, im really going to dedicate myself into what I really want to accomplish. Here are my goals for the new year:

Learn to play the piano

I've always wanted to be a pro at the piano. I have one just sitting in my garage gathering dust. I really think I'm gonna make it my hobby this year. 

Be more active

This is my goal every year & I never get it done. I'm bringing out that yoga mat!!

Save money

I have a hard time trying to save money & I think it's time for me to learn some responsibility & only buy important things that I need right now.

Have a summer to remember

This summer I want to go places. I want to go to a beach, explore and just enjoy the amazing places around me.

Be kinder to myself

I always have a hard time believing in myself. I want to ignore all my flaws and tell myself everyday that I can do it & I am beautiful. It's not just that, I want to take care of my body mentally and physically also. 

Holiday Blues?

Finally, the fall semester is over but im kind of missing it a bit. I honestly don't know what im gonna do for a whole month, except work. I've been in this weird state of mind and I just want to get out of it and have a happy holiday! So, I've put together a list of things for you and me that we can do if we are feeling a bit blue during the holidays. Hopefully I can take my own advice for once in my life. Here we go.

BAKE! Baking will certainly put you in the most peaceful and happy mood. So run to the store & get some baking supplies & start baking. It will defiantly get your mind off whatever is bothering you. 

Decorate! Rearranging your room or even decorating is a great way to get into the holiday spirt! I always get into the mood when I have music playing in the background. 

Play in the snow! Make snow angels & snowmen! Enjoy the beauty of it all. it's also a great workout lol.

Go Out! If you're tired of being in the house all day, go out! Go for a walk or go out for a cup of coffee. Enjoy the sights and take a breath of fresh air. 

Get the Look: Cheryl Blossom

Have you ever saw a TV character's style and fell in love with it? Have you ever wanted to achieve their iconic looks? Well, in this blog post, I will be sharing my tips and guide to the perfect Cheryl  Blossom wardrobe. Cheryl Blossom is a character on the TV show, Riverdale. She's literally a walking ball of fiery sass. She's one of my favorite characters and has one of the best wardrobes. Let's get started on our Cheryl Blossom wardrobe. Cheryl wears a lot of RED, black and navy blue. But mostly RED. So, when your shopping for your new CB wardrobe, make sure you're picking out those 3 main colors.

~Skirts- Cheryl loves wearing the perfect A-Line mini skirt that gives each look a classy touch. Invest in a plaid skirt and a plain black leather one.


~Pretty simple tops- Cheryl wears a lot of simple blouses with minimal details.

~The perfect black blazer for that classy look. 

~The iconic cherry & spider brooch- I'm sure you can find these very cheap online. No need to go crazy and buy an expensive one. 

~Thigh/Knee high boots paired with short dresses & mini skirts. 

~Off shoulder tops- Get some in black and reds. She wears those 2 colors the most. 

~ A pair of red high waisted shorts

~A red turtleneck sweater- you can get them in black and navy blue also.

~Chokers- CB wears chocker with almost most of her outfits. She mostly wears a simple black leather one, a red velvet one, and a black mini bow one. 

 

~Don't forget the most important item of them all....the RED lips.

Shower mistakes you're making

Hello Darlings, you've probably come to the conclusion that your shower regime is and will always be what you think is right. Well, that may not be the case. There are things that you may think you're doing right in the shower but it's actually really bad for your skin.

1) Too much heat
     Showering with too much heat can cause the skin to dry out, stripping the skin from its natural oils. Tone it down a bit. I would say showering for about 5-10 minutes is max and 15 mins if washing the hair.

2) Not masking in the shower
     Masking in the shower is very efficient. While showering opens up the pores from the warmth of the water, the mask will work its magic into those pores, which is soaking up the vitamins and minerals from the mask into the skin.

3) Shaving first
     For extra soft, silky skins, shave after you've showered or even during your shower. The pores will have opened up and the hairs will be softened which makes it easier to shave plus, extra silky skin.

4) Using old loofahs
     Did you know that keeping a loofah for quite some time will eventually develop bacteria on it? You should change your loofah every month and store it in a dry place.

5) Not moisturizing after showering
     The first thing you want to do when you get out of the shower is to pat your skin dry and move straight to moisturizer. Moisturizing right after a shower will help lock in those vitamins and rehydrate the skin. Don't ever skip this step.

I would advise you to look at the views of a certain item before buying if you are skeptical about an item. A future change

Hello darlings, I've been in the mood recently to just chop my hair off. I really would like to donate my hair but I want to grow it a bit longer first so It wouldn't be as short. I'm really obsessed with shoulder length, wavy hair and I think that's something I would love to do in the near future. Maybe when I graduate from college I will chop it all off so I can start fresh into the real world. I know I'll miss my long pretty hair but honestly I just really want a change. I've looked the same for as long as I can remember. I've had the same hair forever. I've cut it a few times but it wasn't to my liking. A few summers ago I cut it so short that it made me a different person. I liked it but I missed my long hair also. This time, if I cut it, I want to be able to love my short hair and be all for it. I don't want to look back and say "I miss my long hair." I want to start my "adult" life looking like one. I'm honestly so over my long hair. I hope I'll be able to do it in two years and I hope I'm happy about it. Below is a few examples of how I want my hair.

Saturday Night Movie Night

Do you just feel like popping some popcorn and get all comfy on the couch, watching girly movies? Yeah, me too. I have those days almost every day to be honest.
